Personal Experience

Javier Basnuevo focuses his practice on civil litigation and appellate advocacy for individuals and businesses throughout the State of Florida. During his education, Mr. Basnuevo served as a judicial extern to the Honorable James Lawrence King in the Southern District of Florida, contributing to several published opinions on Motions to Dismiss and Motions for Summary Judgment. In 2014, Mr. Basnuevo joined the firm to handle a wide range of litigation matters.

Mr. Basnuevo volunteers through the Cuban American Bar Association’s Pro Bono Project and Cannonball’s LegalArt Program, which provides free legal advice to artists. He also coaches and lectures students competing in the Florida High School Mock Trial Competition.
